Hannah Morris BSc (Hons), PGCE, MSc, CPsychol, AFBPsS

Hannah Morris BSc (Hons), PGCE, MSc, CPsychol, AFBPsS

Hannah works with children from ages 3 to 16 years old. She has over 12 years’ experience in assessing children’s strengths and difficulties, providing written recommendations for how to help with learning, behaviour and development. The children she works with attend a variety of educational settings, including mainstream, independent, specialist and additionally resourced provisions.

Hannah qualified as an Educational Psychologist at the Institute of Education in 2006. Previously, she worked with a Corporate Parenting Team to help raise the educational achievement of children in care. She has also co-ordinated a Local Authority Anti-Bullying Strategy. Prior to training as an Educational Psychologist, she was an Early Years Teacher. On a voluntary basis, she was previously a Youth Leader, Childline Telephone Counsellor, Trustee for the NSPCC and an online Advisor for the charity Scope. She is currently a Governor for a primary school and Leader of a parent and toddler playgroup.

Hannah works with families and schools in Hertfordshire, North West London, and parts of Essex, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. An assessment will provide a clear understanding of a child's learning, behaviour and development, as well as help the child to know their strengths and why they may find things difficult at school

Dr Emma Sheffield BSc (Hons), PGCE, MEd, DECPsy.

Dr Emma Sheffield BSc (Hons), PGCE, MEd, DECPsy.

Emma has over 12 years’ experience working in education services. She supports the learning and wellbeing of children and young people from birth through to 25 years of age. Emma provides support for children and young people experiencing difficulties at home, nursery or school. She offers consultations and in-depth assessments using a range of tools to identify strengths, needs and ways forward.

Emma obtained her first class undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Reading before going on to qualify as a primary school teacher at the Institute of Education. After four years of teaching in London, Emma trained as an Educational and Child Psychologist on the doctoral programme at University College London, qualifying in 2015. Her doctoral thesis focused on the voices and experiences of young people with social, emotional and mental health needs and was published in Educational Psychology in Practice in 2017.

Emma's work in an inner-London local authority has fuelled her passion for ensuring that the child is at the centre of any of her work. She has led on pupil voice in her current service and works alongside the Virtual School for Looked After Children, supporting children in care. Emma is driven to achieve real change that is meaningful for the young people with whom she works.

Emma works with families and schools in Hertfordshire, North London, and parts of Essex, Cambridgeshire, Kent, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. An assessment will provide a clear understanding of a child's learning, social and emotional development, as well as help to identify ways to support them to achieve their full potential.

Emma is happy to provide outreach anywhere within an hour’s drive of her home address in Ware.
