Samia qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from City University in 2012. She has worked in a range of settings including mainstream schools and colleges, children’s centres, special schools and additional resource provisions. She has a breadth of experience and has worked for the NHS, Local Authority and a charity. She has worked with children who have a language delay, language disorder, speech sound difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities and complex needs.

Samia currently works for the NHS and provides a specialist service for two special schools. One of these schools is an ASD-specific provision. She regularly uses evidence-based interventions such as Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), social stories, comic strip conversations, Intensive Interaction, Makaton and emotional regulation strategies.

Georgina Collingwoode-Williams - BA (Hons), PGDip Applied Linguistics.

Georgina is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapy Assistant who specialises in ABA and Second Language Speech Learning. She has previous experience teaching internationally and providing therapy to children aged 1-18 years old in the following settings: nurseries, mainstream primary, family homes, secondary and special educational needs. Most recently, Georgina has worked as a Speech and Language assistant within a nursery with children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy and other learning disabilities. She has carried out observations and interventions that focus on the holistic development in infancy. She has used communication systems such as SCERTS, PECS, Makaton, and colourful semantics as tools to aid children’s speech development.

Georgina is very passionate about inclusion and responding to children’s needs. She is enthusiastic about working collaboratively with parents and other professionals to provide therapy that is tailored and most beneficial for a child in their environment. She believes that therapy should be a fun and an empowering experience for a child. Georgina can provide creative activities that motivate children and can also be replicated by parents.

Georgina is based in Edgware but can be flexible in the locations that she can travel to. These include:
