  • Speech and Language Therapy - BSc (Hons) - 2011
  • The Assessment & Management of Peadiatrics and Adults with Dysphagia - PGDip - 2013

  • -I have an established knowledge of assessment and management of Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Dysphagia pertinent to a range of client groups; underpinned by current evidence-based practice.
  • -While I am able to work with children/adults with a variety of needs, my specific area of interest/specialism is with complex communication needs and AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) and supporting individuals reach their communicative and education potential using their AAC.
  • -I enjoy providing bespoke training and consultation services to provide support for both communication and dysphagia issues. I particularly enjoy providing training for education providers and families/and or carers. I find I am able to present complex information in an informal, jargon-free manner. Feedback from my training is positive; staff report increased confidence, demonstrate a greater awareness and improved practice.
