  • She worked for the NHS for over 13 years across a range of different settings in the community, in both mainstream and specialist settings. She recently left the NHS to work for The Owl Centre full-time.
  • She has a wealth of experience working with children and young adults with a range of different speech, language and communication and feeding difficulties.
  • She is skilled at working with individuals who have additional needs, such as autism, learning difficulties and complex medical and physical needs.
  • She specialises in Dysphagia and is able to support children and young adults with eating, drinking and swallowing needs. Her special interest is sensory feeding difficulties and ARFID.
  • Beckie has spent a long time working closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team and believes that joint working is essential for achieving positive outcomes.
