  • I have over fifteen years experience working at a strategic, leadership and management level to deliver bespoke engagement projects with clear aims and outcomes which are evaluated to address the next steps for children and young people who have special educational needs and or a disability. These range from:
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans that enable children from identified vulnerable groups to enable them to make academic progress using a joint up approach.
  • Writing bespoke schemes of work for Biology, Chemistry and Physics KS1-12 and other STEM projects such as the the ‘How to build a human’ National competition based on the Human Cell Atlas Project and after school science clubs that increase engagement of under performing and hard to reach groups of students in areas of significant deprivation in Cambridge
  • Supporting families through the process of applying for an education, health care plan and specialist support for the children in their families delivering low cost and creative support that is joined up and uses funding and support that is available locally from the private and voluntary sector
  • Training for adults who are working with children and young people in a variety of contexts for example, after school clubs, community groups and the faculty of education suggesting implementable and flexible solutions to help support underachieving and disadvantaged children make academic progress
  • I am able to manage budgets and professionals for multiple projects to ensure that the children and young people in my care get the best support possible using the latest research to select and implement value for money interventions and learning programmes.
  • My key skills are summarised below:
  • Effective in delivering multiple projects using a research based approach, on time and within budget that have clear objectives and outcomes for evaluation
  • Decisive and analytical using a range of quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques that implement value for money support for children and young people
  • Work across diverse groups including community members and external stakeholders to provide support for children and young people which is low cost and person centred
  • Producing reports that outline progress and next steps against success criteria which are transparent, value for money and community based to enable children and young people to achieve to their potential
