CV

  • I am a fully qualified counsellor/therapist and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I can also be found on the BACP Register which was set up by the Department of Health in 2013. I work with adults and young people from the age of 11 years old.
  • I use different models of counselling, inter-twining them and tailoring them to fit your needs. This gives us the opportunity to explore how life is for you, how you feel about it and how you react during certain situations, all with the aim of finding solutions that work for you. I incorporate play, games and visual ways of working when I am working with my younger clients.
  • My aim is to provide a confidential, non-judgemental and accepting environment where I can help you explore your issues no matter what they are. Unresolved issues can cause great unhappiness and therapy can help to unlock suppressed feelings and emotions.
  • In an ideal world, we would have someone to talk to within our family or support network, but sometimes we don't feel that we can because we don't want to hurt their feelings or face their reactions. Counselling fills this gap and is a way to express how you really think and feel in a respectful, warm, safe and non-judgemental environment, with someone who is not emotionally involved.
  • I can offer face to face session or online/remote
  • I have worked as a Counsellor in a General Practice and in supported accommodation for young people. I have also worked as a school counsellor for ages 11-18. I have a private practice in Rainham and Sittingbourne Kent.

Interesting / fun facts

  • I love to incorporate 'SLIME MAKING' with my younger clients. Its so much fun and messy and my clients love to get involved. I am able to use this in a therapeutic way.
