  • Having worked as a Behaviour Analyst within an independent school for Autistic Children, I have extensive experience in devising and managing ABA and VB programmes to primary and secondary aged children with a range of needs. I am able to create individualised, flexible programmes that are adapted to the needs of the learner. With an emphasis on positive intervention strategies and functional communication training, my programmes provide the learner with a fun, stimulating environment in which to learn.
  • I adhere to the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board Code of Ethics and continually seek to enhance my skills and knowledge base through attending conferences and workshops as part of my continuing education. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and I have a clean driving licence.

  • January 2006 – June 2014
  • Managed the ABA Supervisors’ and Class Leaders’ of two classes of secondary aged children. Ultimate responsibility for the pupils’ Individual Education Plans, behaviour management and progress. Developed and managed the programmes of pupils’ with complex needs. Developed, managed and supervised training and performance management across the Primary and Secondary School; delivered one to one and group training for therapists, senior colleagues and external agencies. Conducted VB-MAPP Assessments and produced Tribunal reports, for external prospective pupils; attended Tribunals.

  • Conducted VB-MAPP, ABLLS and B-Squared assessments twice yearly; devised, monitored and oversaw delivery of VB, Maths, English, PHSE, ASDAN, and Group programme targets. Conducted Functional Assessments; devised Behaviour Management Plans; monitored and evaluated ongoing data including in graph format; devised and managed home programmes; produced annual progress reports and attended Annual Reviews.   • I like baking and I have two young children, a boy and a girl who love helping me eat the cakes I bake...
  • I like ceramics and am trying to make my own - it's harder than it looks!
  • I love travelling and lived in Japan for 3 years.... I love Japanese food, karaoke and cherry blossom.
