CV

  • I work with pre-school children aged 3 to 5 years who have a diagnosis of autism or who are awaiting an autism assessment. I specialist in early years because I recognise the importance and see the difference early intervention can make.
  • For the last 20 years I have worked for Bexley Early Autism Service, an innovative early years intervention team working with pre-school children with Autism and their families to promote early learning, communication and play.
  • Since moving to East Sussex I have started my own private practice. I follow a child led approach using strategies that capture each child's attention and their interests in order to teach a new skill.
  • I support parents practically and emotionally. I am sensitive to their needs and believe in building excellent relationships whilst delivering strategies that the whole family can follow.
  • I am creative and able to develop highly effective evidence based interventions, which enable me to tailor my approach to each child and family.
  • I have worked with other professionals including Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Educational Psychologists, nursery and school staff and have been involved in contributing to EHCP's and supporting parents through the assessment process.
