  • I have over 20 years experience of working with children and young adults through roles within a LA
  • I am skilled in the delivery of specialist training for Early Years providers including; ASD Training, SENCO, Behaviour Management, Signalong and Social Communication Difficulties
  • Evidenced based interventions such as Identiplay, Intensive Interaction , Special Time etc are part of my skills set both in implementing and in the training for parents and practitioners
  • As an experienced SEN Officer I co-ordinate and write succinct reports for a range of audiences.  I write EHC Plans for students from 0-25 years following the co-ordination of assessments
  • I am passionate about Early Years and early intervention in supporting children to reach their potential .
  • I am the lead SEN Officer for Post 16 within the LA and attend regional and local events to plan appropriate pathways for young adults to enable independent living and employment.

Interesting / fun facts

  • I completed the Adrenaline Rush Challenege in 2015 for Macmillan Cancer Support
  • I met Gok Wan in Manchester as part of a small group of competition winners through a local radio station
