  • I am a person-centred Dance Movement Psychotherapist (DMP)registered with ADMP.
  • I provide a safe and supportive space working 1 to 1 or holding group sessions.
  • The content of my sessions varies for each clients but most sessions include, movement music and props.
  • DMP can be accessed by everyone and can be particularly useful to those who struggle to communicate verbally; including children, people with a disability or those living with Dementia.
  • DMP is an holistic therapy working with both the body and mind, addressing connections and disconnections between the two.
  • My sessions can also include Sensory provision, developmental Movement play and sessions using sign language.
  • Myexperience to date includes; Sessions in SEND settings, this includes schools and community Centres; Therapeutic provision with those living with Dementia; online wellness provision for Teachers of the Arts, during the pandemic and Sensory development and integration with DMP, through my role as Sensory Specialist (2016).

Interesting / fun facts

  • I love to dance and feel so lucky that it is part of my profession and everyday life. I can often be found dancing round my kitchen with my children. I also enjoy reading, learning new things and exploring!
