I am an Augmentative and Alternative (AAC) specialist.
I work with adults and children who have conditions that affect their communication.
E.g. Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disability, Cerebral Palsy, brain injury, stroke, Motor Neurone Disease and other neurological conditions.
I currently work full time at a AAC hub.
I carry out complex assessments and intervention.
I previously worked in special schools for several years.
I supported children and young people to enhance their speech, language and social skills, as appropriate.
I'm passionate about enabling my clients to achieve their communication potential.
My therapeutic approach is creative, flexible and always client-centred.

I am part of the London AAC Clinical Excellence Network committee.
I run an AAC journal club in my own time.
I love cheese and have been known to eat chunks of Cathedral City when peckish.
I've recently discovered the joys of a slow cooker!
I'd love to have a pet tortoise or hedgehog.
