I am the Head of Compliance at The Owl Centre, so I look after things like data security and policies to make sure that we are always safe, and The Owl Centre meets very high standards throughout everything we do.
In my clinical background, I have worked in a range of paediatric settings as a Speech & Language Therapist with the NHS. I started my career working in mainstream schools and clinics supporting children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs.
I then went on to join a team at a Child Development Centre, gaining my competencies in Dysphagia (feeding and swallowing difficulties.) I worked with a team at these centres supporting babies and children with more complex needs.
After joining The Owl Centre I built a wonderful private caseload and very much enjoyed the working relationship with these families.
Now I am ADOS-2 trained and work with adults and children as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess people for Autism Spectrum Disorder. I typically do these assessments online.
I have also been very lucky to have the opportunity to do some volunteer work in Vietnam with other Owl Centre colleagues, training some incredible and dedicated teachers and therapists in Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City.
